About the Position – We are looking to hire an Industrialization Manager to join our team in our TEPEJI DEL RIO PLANT (MEXICO) .
The selected candidate will lead operations and capital investment projects while ensuring plant readiness for new product launches and production requirements. They will drive operational excellence across the plant, guaranteeing the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets in line with customer expectations and business objectives. The role will also be responsible for promoting continuous improvement initiatives, operational efficiency, and compliance with automotive industry standards.
The responsibilities of the position include:
- Lead small, medium, and large-scale industrialization and capital investment projects using project management methodologies.
- Ensure plant readiness for new product launches and production requirements.
- Coordinate production line modifications and engineering change management activities.
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and internal resources involved in projects.
- Control project budgets, capital expenditures, and investment execution.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to achieve project and operational objectives.
- Lead plant operations, ensuring compliance with production schedules and operational targets.
- Drive the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and TPM initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards, including IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and SPC.
- Lead audits and oversee corrective and preventive action plans.
- Promote a strong safety culture, cost control, and talent development across the organization.
- Monitor and improve operational KPIs to enhance plant performance and competitiveness.
Experience and Education
- Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. A Master's Degree is considered an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role and 8-10 years of experience within the automotive industry.
- Proven experience managing plant operations, preferably within Die Casting and Machining environments.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Continuous Improvement methodologies, KPI management, and Project Management.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale industrialization projects.
- Language Skills: Fluent English.
