Quality Auditor

To support our continuous growth in Latin America, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Technical Auditor .

This opportunity is suitable for an independent textile engineer, technical auditor, quality manager or manufacturing specialist with strong hands-on experience in textile mills and garment-manufacturing facilities.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct technical audits in textile mills, garment-manufacturing facilities and other relevant manufacturing sites.
• Assess factory capability, production capacity, equipment, processes and quality-management systems.
• Verify process controls throughout the production cycle.
• Review traceability systems for raw materials, production processes and finished products.
• Identify non-conformities, quality risks and process gaps.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide practical corrective-action recommendations.
• Prepare clear, accurate and timely technical audit reports in line with SgT and client requirements.
• Communicate professionally with factory management and relevant stakeholders during audit assignments.

Required Experience

• Previous experience in technical auditing within the textile, apparel or wider manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of textile mills and garment-manufacturing processes.
• Experience with factory capability assessments and manufacturing process audits.
• Solid understanding of quality-management systems and process-control verification.
• Experience conducting traceability assessments.
• Ability to identify quality or process issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Previous experience auditing textile, apparel, raw-material, dyeing, knitting, spinning or manufacturing facilities for international brands is highly required.
• Ability to work independently and travel locally to factory sites when needed.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills.
• English-reporting ability is an advantage.
