Quality Supervisor

The Vehicle and Engine Assembly Quality Supervisor leads the quality assurance and quality control teams across all assembly lines. In this role, the incumbent establishes, monitors, and enforces strict quality standards from incoming components to final vehicle inspection, ensuring total compliance with industry and local regulatory requirements. Additionally, the supervisor tracks and resolves manufacturing non-conformances by leading failure analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent defect recurrence. Finally, the role drives the creation of plant-wide quality training programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure engineering teams maintain rigorous process standardization.

• Oversee Incoming Quality Control Inspection of LCV parts and CKD KIT parts .
• Supervise daily operations of Quality Auditors, Inspectors, and Lab Technicians across the vehicle assembly and testing line.
• Lead root-cause analysis investigations for internal defects and customer field failures using QC tools.
• Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor assembly line capabilities and proactively prevent process drift.
• Conduct regular internal audits on the shop floor to verify process compliance.
• Manage non-conformances Identify, quarantine, and dispose of defective materials on a daily basis.
• Drive CAPA actions Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions to permanently eliminate defect recurrence.
• Collaborate with Assembly Supervisors to execute continuous improvement projects to reduce defect rates.
• Develop and maintain quality documents, SOPs, work instructions, procedures, and quality records.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits like process audits and product audits.
• Track audit observations, non-conformities, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process standardization and system effectiveness.
• Monitor process compliance corrective action effectiveness in production

Experience/ Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Quality, Automotive) or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience in quality control leadership within an automotive, motorcycle, or complex mechanical assembly environment.
• Experience in manufacturing industry, preferably automotive or motorcycle sector.
• Strong knowledge of Two wheeler Vehicle assembly processes.
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems preferred.
• Knowledge PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC
